He is currently in post production on a short film about Guantanamo Bay with Speak-It Productions, in pre-production with Nick Broomfield and Lafayette Films on a short documentary and in August on location in Edinburgh making a series of comedy shorts with some of the Festivals best comedians for Amnesty International.

"You Can Go Now": Akiko arrives in London to begin her training as an actress. Britain is not as she expects and she desperately misses the lover she left behind in Tokyo. Homesick and lonely, she finds and adopts an injured squirrel. She learns how to care for the animal, nursing it back to health while she struggles to choose between the safety of home and her lifelong dream. You Can Go Now combines an elegant, simple narrative with beautiful photography and evocative, original score. Half in English, half in Japanese.
